Step 5: Start Dancing

Start the dance session by following the on-screen avatar’s movements. As you mirror these movements, our patented motion capture technology tracks over 72 bio points in 3D. This system measures how well you introject the movements to develop cognitive skills. Each movement is an exercise in efforting, requiring you to precisely mimic the actions. Completing the entire dance is essential for optimal results, as we capture your movements throughout the session. This helps develop crucial skills like inhibitory control, attention switching, working memory, and visual-spatial ability.

Step 6: Results & Rewards

At the end of every dance session, children can earn points, real cash, and SPC credits based on reaching their baseline threshold performance. Additionally, they receive an improvement potential score for the next dance. The quantity of each reward is determined by how effectively the child has “efforted”, performed, and internalized the dance content, with our AI algorithms meticulously analyzing each movement. Notably, children can earn upwards of $1.00 a day in cash rewards, which are deposited as micro bank deposits. These rewards are cumulative, motivating children to maintain ongoing participation and strive for continuous improvement.

Step 7: Keep Dancing

For optimal development of cognitive skills, we recommend that children engage in dancing for at least 10 minutes per week, spread over 2-4 days of the week. Regular engagement not only solidifies the learned cognitive skills but also enhances mental health over the long term. As children continue to dance and reach their efforting dance baseline, they accumulate real cash and SPCs, which are tracked and rewarded based on the precision and effort of their dances. This effort/gamification aspect serves as both a motivator and a progress tracker, encouraging consistent participation.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Dr. Mooves A&D help with cognitive development?

Dr. Mooves A&D helps children improve cognitive skills by engaging them in entertainment-genre, dance-based activities. These dances enhance inhibitory control, attention switching, working memory, visual-spatial ability, and cognitive mathematical ability through patent-approved forced incorporation and introjection of body domain movements. Each forced movement helps children develop these important skills while having fun. For more information, visit our Benefits page to see how Dr. Mooves A&D supports your child’s mental and emotional growth.

What types of rewards can my child earn?

When a child completes a qualifying dance and reaches the required effort threshold, they can earn two types of rewards: Micro Bank Rewards ($0.75-$1.00) and SPC (Suicide Prevention Credits). Micro Bank Rewards are automatically deposited into a bank account, while SPC is a virtual currency that your child can use within the Dr. Mooves platform soon.

How are rewards calculated and distributed?

Rewards are based on how accurately and effortfully your child performs the patented dance movements. Micro Bank deposits are calculated using both your child’s performance and a proprietary algorithm that allocates community funds among members. For each individual, there is a daily limit of up to $1.00 in Micro Bank deposits, which are deposited directly into your bank account. SPC follow a separate algorithm and are entirely virtual. Unlike Micro Bank deposits, SPC have no daily cap and are stored in your Dr. Mooves account for future use. Both rewards can be tracked through the app’s dashboard.

Is it important to complete each dance?

Yes, it’s important for your child to complete the entire dance. These dances are specifically designed with a complexity and difficulty formula adjusted to your child’s baseline to help develop the cognitive skills that empower children to manage anxiety and depression. Points and rewards are earned throughout the session based on how well each move is performed, and every movement is measured to contribute to both the overall score and your child’s cognitive development. These instantiated cognitive skills are protective and last forever.

Can my child get zero rewards?

Yes, if the child doesn’t meet the qualified baseline effort or accuracy for that particular child’s baseline, no rewards will be earned. However, the app encourages improvement with each attempt through a prescriptive process, recommending the next dance.

How does the app know how much effort my child is using?

The app tracks the “efforting” by using the science of the Psychoanalytic Theory of Child Development and measuring, at baseline, the biomechanical accuracy of each dance domain movement. Points are awarded based on how much effort your child expends during each entire dance session.

What if the app doesn’t recognize my child’s movements?

Ensure that the camera has a clear view of your child and the dance area, and make sure the lighting conditions are sufficient. Additionally, verify that your internet connection is stable and that your child is standing clearly within the body zone depicted in the app for the duration of the dance session.

Can I set up multiple profiles?

Yes, Dr. Mooves A&D supports multiple profiles so each child can have their own personalized experience and track their progress. However, each device is maxed at $1.00 per day, and dances earn between $0.06-$0.50.
